This is a professional level Master Herbalist program with courses in botany, herbal medicine-making, herbal properties/materia medica and herbal formulations. To prepare you for working with clients, our Master Herbalist program includes studies in anatomy and physiology, case studies, nutrition, vitamins and minerals, and kinesiology. The herbal reference project will be a valuable and updated resource for your natural health office.
This program makes you eligible to apply for Board Certification with The American Association of Drugless Practitioners Certification and Accreditation Board.
Requirements include 8 books/manuals, 2 projects, 1 DVD and 3 online classes. Estimated time to complete this program is 12 months. 39 credit hours/624 study hours.
TEST DIRECTIONS: YOUR TEST HAS TWO PARTS!
- The TEST QUESTIONS are in a PDF format – it will not let you enter the answers but, you may download and print the test and fill in the answers for your personal files.
- The TEST ANSWER SHEET is in a word document format that mac or pc computers can open. Download this document – it is where you will type in your answers, save, and email the answer sheet to office@genesisschoolofnaturalhealth.org
You may sign up for class at any time during your studies. Classes are offered every other month and you only need to attend once but may join a class more than once. Most classes last about 2 hours.

SG30 Herbal Reference Project: This project will become a valuable reference guide for your office. It is a simple system that expands with your knowledge about herbs. This project can and should be started as soon as you are reading herbal books. You do not need to list every herb you have studied – include those that “spoke” to you, the herbs that when you were reading them really caught your attention as something you would want to use in your office with clients.
