What is the difference between the Natural Health Consultant and Natural Health Professional? It is true that almost all of the classes/books are the same – we have purposefully designed our courses with considerable overlap. This overlap makes it easy for students to continue their education by adding classes which is very cost effective. The main difference between the NHC and NHP is that the Natural Health Professional requires Anatomy & Physiology, blood chemistry, an in-depth view of the immune system, and the use of herbs in mental health. Many of our books cover various anatomy and physiology details but, an official Anatomy & Physiology course is required when advancing your diploma and certification options.

"I have loved every minute of my time at Genesis. In fact, although I have taken the long road to finishing, I am sad that my time as a student at Genesis is over. The support of the administration has been top notch. The curriculum is broad and very engaging. I truly enjoyed every class that was given. Whether you are hoping to start a new career helping others with their natural journey, or just gaining information for your family's future, Genesis is the place!"

What Natural Health Professionals Do and What We Don’t Do:

  1. We do not diagnose disease. We analyze and evaluate conditions, symptoms, and lifestyle habits. We do not claim to be a doctor or dietician/nutritionist. We are natural health professionals, herbalists, holistic health practitioners, naturopaths…
  2. We do not treat a specific disease. We focus on healing the entire body naturally. We address or remove the root causes and practice the healing power of nature.
  3. We do not prescribe drugs. We depend on naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients built into the plant structure of whole foods and herbs and practice “do not harm”.
  4. We maintain the highest standard of professional and personal conduct and abide by all state and local laws.
  5. We are willing to consult and seek the talents of other holistic health professionals when needed. We do not practice beyond our ability and we are up to date on all information given to our clients.
  6. We take a holistic approach to support the whole person. We teach, guide, and encourage.
