What are Natural Health Consultants and Master Herbalists?

Natural health consultants are professionals who have extensive knowledge about natural remedies, such as vitamins, minerals, herbal formulations, nutrition, and what the body requires at the cellular level. All natural health professionals, which includes herbalists, need to understand what the body organs and systems require to function optimally. In addition to the required class/book G350 Herbs and Physiology: Herbal ABC’s: The Foundation of Herbal Medicine by Dr. Sharol Marie Tilgner, students will be able to download and print our specialized manual on blood tests/blood chemistry.

Being an effective natural health consultant and master herbalist also requires communication and listening skills. The ability to listen carefully to a client’s health care concerns sounds easy but, what if the root cause is your focus (it should be) and not the symptoms your client is immediately concerned with resolving? Our thorough case study classes will prepare you for the all-important office consultation.

Certified Herbalist – Facts & Fiction

Many herbal students want to know whether they can become a certified or licensed herbalist after completing online herbal classes. The truth is, there is currently no certifying agency or licensing board for herbalists in the United States.

TRUTH: If you live in the United States, you can use, sell, recommend, formulate herbal remedies, and charge for herbal services without a license or certification.
